A few weeks back I decided to make a drastic change to my diet, by cutting out sugar and excessive carbs. Before taking that leap, I decided to do a one-day cleanse in order to get rid of all the bad stuff in my body. I decided to try Pressed Juicery here in NYC, because they have a wide range of flavors and they also have a one to five days cleanse program. I didn’t really follow the program step-by-step, I kinda created my own by buying from the 5 for $20 deal they had going on at the time (I think they still do). From my knowledge and from minimal research, you basically drink all five juice (sometimes more or less) in one day. But for me, I didn’t go that way.
On day one I only had one bottle, which was green #2, which I didn’t like at first, I literally had to hold my breath when I was drinking it. My stomach was also trying to reject it. I only had one bottle the first day, because I didn’t like the taste that much and I was starving. So, I broke the cleanse on the first day.
The second day was a little better I drank three bottles and one of my favorite from this round was the citrus #2, which was the bomb. On day three, which was two days too much, I finish the last bottle.
To be honest, I didn’t just drink the juices, I was eating too because I was literally so hungry. One thing I noticed during this “cleanse” was that I had to use the bathroom a lot (#1 pee), every hour or so, which was great since it is your body’s way of getting rid of toxins. I didn’t really work for me because I didn’t follow the steps completely and I wasn’t eating healthy when I was cheating.
I would definitely recommend Pressed Juicery cleansing program, I would suggest following it step-by-step for better results. Pressed Juicery carries a number of different flavors, so I suggest trying a flavor that will drown your hunger out. They also carry special waters and refreshers, which I would suggest trying to get better and faster results.
